Early Sunday morning, during my shift at work, I had received news from the locoal authorities, that a possible suicide suspect might be headed down to my post, plunging to his death by taking a long dip in cold water out by the bay. I had alerted all other stations at my post to be on the look out for a young 21 year old hispanic male with brown facial hair, wearing a hooded black sweater and dark clothing. I called the dispatch center back an hour later after searching for the suicide suspect, to find out about the current location of where this young adult male might be. I was notified with good news, that the young man had decided to stay at home and try and work things out with his family. I was so relieved to hear the good news, I had informed all stations to stand down, that the possible suicide was over, but we were all still on our guard to moniter anything unusual or watch for anything, or anyone conducting suspicious activity. I had later celebrated by myself, by having a cup of coffee and two biscuit breakfast sandwiches. I continued on with my shift, I went home later, I slept real good in the morning, thinking about my life, my recent break up, and I prayed to the lord thanking him for watching me from above, that, I did not try and do anything like that to myself. As long as we are all dealing with serious issues and problems, personal or business, suicide is not an option nor at the top of the list of things to do. There are other ways to deal with certain things in life, you just have to look real closely. Cheers.
